Transportation to and from Małe Ciche is only available from/to Kraków Airport as follows:

For Arrivals –

1. The day before the Conference begins on SATURDAY, 30TH JULY 2022 between 9:00 – 18:00
2. The day of the Conference on LORD’S DAY, 31ST JULY 2022 between 9:00 – 14:00

For Departures –

1. The day the Conference finishes on SATURDAY, 6TH AUGUST 2022 between 15:00 – 21:00
2. The day after the Conference ends on LORD’S DAY, 7TH AUGUST 2022 between 9:00 – 18:00

Any travel plans made outside of these dates and times will need to be arranged personally by the registrant.

Please remember that any young person who arrives early or leaves later must be accompanied by a serving one.

The Conference provides transportation from/to Kraków Airport only. If you need to travel from the train station to the airport or vice-versa, please make your own travel arrangements. There are trains (SKA1) and buses (208, 209, 252, 902) operating frequently between the train station and Kraków Airport. You may also travel by taxi.

The train takes about 15 minutes and tickets cost 14zł. The bus can take up to 1 hour and tickets cost approximately 4-6zł. A taxi takes around 30 minutes and costs 50-60zł.

Unfortunately, there will NOT be a Kraków blending trip after the Conference this year due to the ongoing gospel trips in Poland.

The deadline for submitting all travel information is Monday, 4 July 2022.

Please contact transport@ypconference.eu if you were not able to submit in time or if your travel arrangements change after the deadline.

Travel plans should be organised with your Country Coordinator and solidified before the Conference. If, however, your plans do change, please notify us by email immediately at transport@ypconference.eu. We will try our best to assist you with transportation to/from Małe Ciche; however, due to the limited Conference shuttle schedule, there is no guarantee that we will be able to provide transportation for you. You can, alternatively, take a public bus or taxi.

Flights should be booked following the instructions given on the registration form and in coordination with the saints in your cluster and with your Country Coordinator. We recommend booking flights that arrive no earlier than 9:00 and no later than 14:00. If your flight arrives at an earlier time, you will need to wait at the airport until the Conference shuttle service begins.

We recommend booking flights that depart on the evening of the last day of the Conference (Saturday, 6th August) so that you do not miss the last message or the next day (Lord’s Day, 7th August) after 9:00.

If your flight is outside of this time window, you will need to make your own way to the airport by public bus or taxi. Alternatively, you could take the transportation provided by the Conference to Kraków Airport or Kraków Train Station on the last day of the Conference (Saturday, 6 August 2022) and stay closer to the airport that night; you will need to arrange your accommodation in Kraków yourself.

NOT THIS YEAR. This year, we will not use the other two airports but only concentrate on Kraków Airport. Flights should be booked in coordination with the saints in your cluster and with your Country Coordinator.

We will try to arrange your transportation so that you do not have an excessive waiting time at the airport but this will not always be possible. This is especially true for flights that depart very late in the evening, e.g., after 21:00. We would ask you to take grace in this matter and enjoy spending extra time with other Conference attendees while you are at the airport. If there are a number of hours between your drop-off time and check-in for your flight, you could consider taking a short trip into Kraków on the train.

By Bus –

If you wish to make your own travel arrangements, it is recommended to take a bus from Kraków Airport to Zakopane (~3 hours) via FlixBus and then another bus to Małe Ciche (30 minutes) via Szos-Mig. Buses cost approximately 40-50zł from Kraków Airport to Zakopane and 7zł (cash only) from Zakopane to Małe Ciche.

By Taxi –

A taxi from Małe Ciche to Kraków Airport will cost approximately 350-400zł depending on the time of day. This may increase during weekends.

An app many locals use is Bolt (like Uber), which you can find on any Android or iPhone app store. 

By Train –

It is not recommended to travel by train to Małe Ciche. However, there are trains running regularly to and from the Kraków Main Train Station to Kraków Airport.

From Kraków Airport to the Kraków Main Train Station, tickets cost 14zł.
