For personal purchases, we suggest that you bring with you around $75 as spending money for lunch on Saturday and Lord’s Day in Male Ciche before the Conference begins, for dinner in Krakow after the conference concludes, any taxi rides while in Krakow, as well as for any other personal purchases during this time. Please make sure to exchange your money into Polish Złoty (PLN) upon arrival at Krakow Airport (KRK).

Arrival:

Please make travel arrangements to arrive in Kraków on Saturday, 27 July 2024, which is the day before the conference begins. You should book flights that fit in with the conference shuttle service schedule. If you arrive in Kraków before Saturday, you must provide for your own needs until you meet the bus at Krakow Airport for transportation to Małe Ciche.

After arriving in Małe Ciche, please follow the ushers to make your way directly to Check-in to receive your conference materials (badge, T-shirt, handbook) and accommodation assignment.

Please note that Saturday lunch will not be provided. There are a couple of restaurants located within the village. Saturday dinner is at 5:45pm. Lord’s Day breakfast is at [TBC] but lunch will not be provided. The conference begins with dinner on Lord’s Day evening at 5:45pm and the first meeting is at 6:45pm.

Departure:

Book your flights back if possible for Lord’s Day, August 4 in the afternoon or Monday, August 5 in the morning so that you have enough time to join the Lord’s table with the saints in Kraków.

In the registration form, please select these options on the Travel Info page:

  • Departure Date from Poland: Lord’s Day, 4 August 2024 (unless it is different)
  • Departure transport provided by the conference: Yes
  • Drop Off To: Other (Special Arrangement only)
  • Special Arrangement for Drop Off To: Vienna House by Wyndham Cracow – US registrants
  • Drop Off Date: Saturday, 3 August 2024
  • Drop Off Before: You can leave this empty

After lunch in Małe Ciche, you will travel by bus for your overnight stay in a hotel in Kraków. There will not be any planned group activities in the evening, so you are welcome to make your own plans if you would like to do some sightseeing around the city and for dinner.

On Lord’s Day morning, you will have breakfast at the hotel and then travel to join the Lord’s Day meeting with the church in Kraków at 11am. You will then be responsible for making your own way either back to the hotel or to the airport after the meeting ends.

Due to practical limitations, the churches in Poland are not able to receive guests for hospitality either before or after the conference. Those who arrive early or stay past these dates will need to provide their own transportation and make their own housing arrangements.
